Caution/Trigger Warning: Please be aware that our events may include themes related to serial killers, taboo topics, and gruesome real-life articles/pictures depicting scenes such as murders. Additionally, we incorporate spiritual tools like tarot cards and pendulum plates as decoration. While you're welcome to use these items at your discretion, we urge caution as you never know what lies beyond the door you're opening. All spiritual tools will be cleansed before being used in the next event. Should you choose to use these items, it's important to note that any subsequent events or experiences are not the responsibility of Bad Luv Events.

For safety reasons, we do not include Ouija boards in our prop gallery. You are welcome to bring and use your own; however, we kindly request that you inform us prior to the event. Additionally, for safety reasons, please inform us in the rare case that a seance will be part of your event, this is again, for cleansing and safety purposes and will be asked before and after the event if one has taken place.

These events are rated M for mature audiences, and we highly recommend that they be attended by individuals aged 18 and above. However, the age restriction is ultimately at the discretion of the client/guest. We strongly recommend against having children at these events for mental wellbeing and equipment safety reasons. However, the decision ultimately rests with the clients/guests.

All nightmares and psychological effects experienced after the event are considered self-inflicted by the client and their guests. Bad Luv Events will not hold any accountability or responsibility for these occurrences, and will not reimburse you for any counselling/health/therapy matters.

Our themed photoshoots embrace the dark and romantic aesthetics of the gothic subculture, as well as unique themes such as the soon-to-come release of the Alice In Wonderland theme. At the moment, our most requested themes are the freedom/divorce photoshoots and gender reveal shoots. We team up with experts to make your experience as fun and interesting as possible, offering a unique and unforgettable time.

  • Bad Luv Events brings a deep understanding and appreciation of gothic culture to every photoshoot.   • Currently, we're only offering one specific styled theme for each "evented shoot."

    We're actively collaborating with professionals/ prop masters and venues to broaden these options; however, as with all quality endeavours, we need time to refine and perfect before offering more themes.

  • We encourage clients to incorporate their own styles and outfits, and we also provide two distinct "widow's gowns" in our collection. Additionally, we offer our signature gothic headpiece and gemstone crown, as featured on our photoshoot page.

  • Of course! Alongside the photoshoot session, we offer a variety of additional services to enhance your experience. These include professional hair and makeup styling, as well as themed cakes and treats. You can opt for a cake smash or enjoy the treats during your shoot; we encourage you to take the nums home to enjoy later. Just let us know your preferences, and we'll tailor a package to suit your needs. Please be aware that individual add-ons will incur their own additional charges.

  • You have the freedom to choose your preferred location, although please be aware that a travel fee will be added. Alternatively, you can select from our limited options: our indoor or outdoor settings. We'll collaborate with you to choose a location that aligns with your chosen theme and elevates the overall ambiance.

  • The duration of the photoshoot session can vary depending on factors such as the complexity of the theme, the number of participants, and any additional services requested. On average, our photoshoots range from one to three hours, ensuring ample time to capture stunning imagery. Our estimated timeframe will be confirmed with you prior to the day.

  • Yes, including extra individuals in the photoshoot will incur an additional cost. We offer package options to accommodate different group sizes, and our team will be happy to discuss pricing details based on your specific requirements.

  • Yes, we provide candle hire services for events. Our collection includes a variety of gothic-inspired candle holders and candles, ranging from taper candles to tea lights, all designed to create an atmospheric ambiance for your event.

  • When using candles at events, it's essential to follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Ensure that candles are placed on stable surfaces away from flammable materials and out of reach of children and animals. Never leave candles unattended, and always extinguish them before leaving the venue or area. It's important to inform guests to be cautious of candle flames. Please note that all damages to the venue, client and guest property, and Bad Luv Events hired props will be the responsibility of the client. Bad Luv Events will require reimbursement for any damaged property.

  • If a prop is damaged during the event, please notify us as soon as possible. Depending on the extent of the damage, a replacement fee may apply. We understand that accidents happen, and we'll work with you to resolve the situation as smoothly as possible.

  • We recognise that each event is distinct, though as we're newly establishing in Western Sydney, our selections are presently limited. We're actively collaborating with prop specialists and designers to expand our range of pieces and themes. Currently, we can provide options for neon lights, but custom themed events are not yet accessible (though they're in progress!).

  • We recommend booking your themed prop hire as early as possible to ensure availability, especially for popular items and peak event seasons. We do aim to put a 2 week minimum timeframe, however, we understand that last-minute bookings may also arise, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs whenever possible.

  • The client assumes all responsibility for the props once they have left our premises. Bad Luv Events will not be held accountable for any incidents, including fires, glass-related injuries, or any other injuries that occur once the items have been dispatched from our location.

    The client is responsible for all damages and injuries resulting from the use of our hired props once they have left Bad Luv Event's hiring location.

    Additionally, we will not take responsibility for any client or clients' guests' property, venues, vehicles, locations, or placements that our props end up in after leaving our establishment.

For home events, clients may choose to opt out of a cleaning fee and handle the clean-up themselves.Please note that this cleaning service pertains to the environment and not the actual props used. Bad Luv Event props will be cleaned and sanitized by Bad Luv Event staff.   • At Bad Luv Events and Prop Hire, our aim is to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our clients. To achieve this, we have established comprehensive guidelines for prop hiring:

    1. Booking Process: Clients must book props in advance through our designated booking forms. Prop availability is confirmed upon booking.

    2. Payment Terms: Payment for prop hire services must adhere to the agreed-upon terms outlined in the booking contract. Failure to comply with payment deadlines may result in booking cancellation.

    3. Security Deposit: All prop hires require a security deposit, refunded upon the prop's return in its original condition, with deductions for damages or losses, if any. This price will be agreed upon via your hire quote.

    4. Prop Care and Responsibility: Clients are responsible for caring for and safeguarding hired props during the rental period. Damages or losses incurred are the client's responsibility and may incur additional charges/loss of your security deposit.

    5. Prop Inspection: Clients are encouraged to inspect props upon delivery or collection to ensure they meet expectations and are in satisfactory condition. Any discrepancies should be promptly reported for your safety and Bad Luv to update our product record sheets. Before and after pictures are welcome to use as evidence.

    6. Usage Restrictions: We provide clear guidelines on prop usage, including any restrictions such as outdoor use, exposure to water, or weight limits, to ensure prop longevity. This information is sent through in your confirmed order response.

    7. Cleaning and Maintenance: Clients are assured that Bad Luv Events and Prop Hire handles all prop cleaning for sanitary and disinfecting purposes. It's important to note that some household cleaning products may cause chemical reactions with our props, so we kindly request clients refrain from cleaning hired props, using only water and a cloth if necessary for cleaning. Guidance on prop maintenance during the rental period is also provided.

    8. Replacement Costs: The costs of replacing lost or irreparably damaged props are clearly communicated, helping clients understand their financial liability. This is confirmed once items have been selected/organised.

    9. Delivery and Collection: We offer free delivery and collection to Eagle Vale, NSW only. Courier quotes for out-of-area hires are available, with delivery limited to the Campbelltown and Camden suburbs at an added cost of $35 for the individual service of drop off and pick up. Additionally, client collection and drop off options are available free of charge.

    10. Cancellation Policy: Clients may cancel prop bookings, subject to a cancellation fee depending on timing and incurred costs. If the prop hire is cancelled within 6 days of the event, the client understands that they forfeit the whole deposit fee paid.

    11. Customisation and Alterations: Props may not be altered or modified without prior approval, with unauthorised alterations incurring additional charges based on the replacement cost price list.

    12. Return of Props: Props must be promptly returned in their original condition. Late returns may result in additional charges. We ask that you return props by 12 noon the following day unless agreed otherwise. Late returns will add a $20 per hour late fee.

    13. Communication Channels: Clients are provided with contact information for inquiries, support, and emergency assistance related to prop hire services. This information is based on the event planner you are paired with and given to the client prior to the event.

    14. Prop Selection and Availability: Clients can browse available props through our online catalogue or package options. The process for availability checking and reservations is clarified, especially for high-demand props during specific seasons or events. Some pre-made prop packages may have items swapped based on first in best-dressed selection. We cannot guarantee items and do not have double ups of some of our antique/vintage products.

    15. Custom Prop Requests: Clients interested in custom props tailored to their event themes or requirements can request them through our designated process, with information on lead times, design consultations, and pricing for custom work provided. These costs are to be paid by the client, with props being kept by the client unless agreed otherwise.

    17. Feedback and Reviews: Clients are encouraged to provide feedback on their rental experience and the quality of props provided. Consideration is given to implementing a review system or feedback survey to gather insights and improve services over time. This can be submitted via Google, Facebook, or social media review.

    18. Client Responsibilities During Rental: We clarify clients' responsibilities during the rental period, such as ensuring props are used safely and in accordance with provided instructions.

    19. Prop Setup: Prop setup will come at an additional fee to the delivery fee. We also give the visual option to copy layouts for DIY setup which is a free option for the client.

    20. Contractual Agreements: We ensure that clients acknowledge and agree to all terms and conditions outlined in the contract before finalising their prop booking.

    21. Theft and Security Policy:

    At Bad Luv Events, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards theft or dishonest behaviour during our events. Clients and guests are expected to respect the property of others, including items belonging to Bad Luv Events.

    Any incidents of theft or suspected theft should be reported immediately to Bad Luv Events staff. We will fully cooperate with authorities in investigating and resolving such incidents.

    Bad Luv Events and Prop Hire will not be held liable for any loss or damage to personal property. Individuals found engaging in theft or dishonest behaviour may be subject to company banning and legal action. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual suspected of theft or dishonest behaviour.

    22. Equipment Inventory and Theft Prevention:

    Before and after each event, Bad Luv Events conducts a thorough inventory check of all hired equipment and props to ensure accountability and prevent theft or loss.

    We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for stealing or unauthorised removal of any items, regardless of size or value. Clients and guests are expected to respect the property of Bad Luv Events and fellow attendees.

    In the event of any missing or damaged hired equipment or props beyond normal wear and tear, Bad Luv Events reserves the right to request reimbursement from the responsible party or take appropriate legal action to recover the value of the item(s).

    Clients are responsible for ensuring the security of all hired equipment and props during the event. Any suspicious behaviour or concerns regarding theft should be reported immediately to Bad Luv Events staff for investigation.

  • Bad Luv Events does not offer seance services as part of our event packages. However, if a client or guest chooses to conduct a seance at one of our events, we require notification both before and after the event for cleansing and respect purposes.

    While seances are permitted at our events with prior notification, it's important to note that we do not actively encourage their use. Clients or guests engaging in seance activities do so at their own risk. We ensure that all of our props are thoroughly cleansed prior to their next use.

    It is essential for clients or guests intending to conduct a seance during the event to inform Bad Luv Events beforehand. This allows us to take necessary precautions for cleansing and to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees.Explanation of Cleansing Process:Our cleansing process involves the careful use of sacred herbs, such as sage, as well as incense and salt to purify the props and remove any negative or clingy energies. It's essential to stay safe, as you never know who might be on the other side of the door. Always remember to conclude the seance and bid farewell. event planning service policies

  • 1. Booking and Payment:

    All event bookings require a non-refundable deposit of $500 to secure the date. The remaining balance of the whole event is due no later than 7 days before the event date. If full payment is not given 4 days before your event, we will deem it as cancelled and keep any deposits paid. Payments can be made via cash or bank transfer via invoice. Any additional services requested after booking will incur extra charges, payable in advance or on the day of the event. Please note, additions may not be available, we will get an answer to you as soon as we can.

    2. Cancellation and Refunds:

    Cancellations made 7 days or less before the event date will forfeit the full deposit of $500.

    Cancellations made less than 5 days before the event date will result in the full balance being due.

    Refunds are not provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the event date.

    In the event of unforeseen circumstances, outside of the 7 day window, we will work with clients to reschedule the event, or provide a credit for future use.

    3. Event Details:

    Clients are required to provide detailed information about their event, including theme (e.g. birthday/gender reveal/baby, shower), preferred venue, estimated number of guests, and any special requirements (e.g. accessible location/dietary requirements). Changes to event details must be communicated to Bad Luv Events at least 4 days before the event date, subject to availability and additional charges.

    4. Venue and Equipment:

    Bad Luv Events will liaise with the venue regarding logistics, setup, and access requirements.
