1. Booking and Payment:

All event bookings require a non-refundable deposit of $500 to secure the date. The remaining balance of the whole event is due no later than 7 days before the event date. If full payment is not given 4 days before your event, we will deem it as cancelled and keep any deposits paid. Payments can be made via cash or bank transfer via invoice. Any additional services requested after booking will incur extra charges, payable in advance or on the day of the event. Please note, additions may not be available, we will get an answer to you as soon as we can.

2. Cancellation and Refunds:

Cancellations made 7 days or less before the event date will forfeit the full deposit of $500.

Cancellations made less than 5 days before the event date will result in the full balance being due.

Refunds are not provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the event date.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, outside of the 7 day window, we will work with clients to reschedule the event, or provide a credit for future use.

3. Event Details:

Clients are required to provide detailed information about their event, including theme (e.g. birthday/gender reveal/baby, shower), preferred venue, estimated number of guests, and any special requirements (e.g. accessible location/dietary requirements). Changes to event details must be communicated to Bad Luv Events at least 4 days before the event date, subject to availability and additional charges.

4. Venue and Equipment:

Bad Luv Events will liaise with the venue regarding logistics, setup, and access requirements.

Clients are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits or permissions for the event venue, to handover a copy also to your designated Bad Luv Events Planner. Clients are liable for any damages to equipment or property belonging to Bad Luv Events during the event.

As soon as prop hire items have left the Bad Luv collection location, the client is liable for any damages or injuries.

5. Safety and Liability:

Bad Luv Events prioritises the safety and wellbeing of clients and guests during events.

Clients must adhere to safety guidelines provided by Bad Luv Events, including restrictions on certain activities or props.

Bad Luv Events will not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during the event, except in cases of negligence on our part. It is encouraged to take photos with time stamps of items you may question prior to your event for damage control/observation purposes.

6. Alcohol, Smoking and Drugs:

Clients are responsible for complying with all relevant laws and regulations regarding the service and consumption of alcohol at the event.

Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors and in designated non-smoking areas of venues across NSW unless states otherwise.

At Bad Luv Events, we maintain a strict policy against the use of drugs at our events. We do not condone or tolerate any illegal drug use or distribution during any activities associated with our events. Clients and guests are expected to abide by all relevant laws and regulations regarding drug use.

Violation of this policy may result in client ban and may lead to legal consequences. Bad Luv Events reserves the right to refuse service to any individual suspected of being under the influence of drugs or engaging in drug-related activities.

We prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all attendees at our events, and drug-free environments contribute to a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

7. Clean-Up:

Clients may opt to include clean-up services provided by Bad Luv Events or third-party partners for an additional fee.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that the event space is left in a clean, respectable, and tidy condition after the event. Any cleaning fees added by the venue will be charged to the client, as well as venue damage fees.

15. Guest Conduct Policy:

Clients are responsible for the conduct of their guests during the event. Any disruptive behavior or violation of venue rules by guests may result in intervention by Bad Luv Events staff or venue staff and security. Clients may be held liable for any damages caused by their guests, with further action being taken via the venue management based on their policies, rules and procedures. We could like to make it clear that Bad Luv Events has no say in the venues rules.

16. Lost and Found Policy:

Bad Luv Events is not responsible for lost or stolen items during the event. However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist in locating and returning lost items to their rightful owners. Clients and guests are encouraged to keep track of their personal belongings throughout the event.

17. Vendor Coordination Policy:

Bad Luv Events can assist clients in coordinating with external vendors such as photographers, DJs, and florists. However, clients are responsible for communicating directly with vendors regarding their requirements, schedules, and payments. Bad Luv Events will not be held liable for any disputes or issues arising between clients and vendors. Bad Luv Events asks that you cc us into all correspondence to allow client follow ups communicated by the Bad Luv planner and client only. We will not speak to outside venues for you unless asked/confirmed otherwise.

18. Emergency Preparedness Policy:

Bad Luv Events team up with venues that have procedures in place to handle emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or evacuations. Clients and guests should familiarise themselves with emergency exits and procedures upon arrival at the event venue. In the event of an emergency, clients should follow instructions provided by the venue staff/personnel.

Bad Luv Events maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards theft or dishonest behaviour during our events. Any incidents of theft or suspected theft should be reported immediately to the venue security personnel/staff or the available/onsite Bad Luv Events staff. We will cooperate fully with authorities in investigating and resolving such incidents.

Clients are responsible for the security of their personal belongings and valuables during the event. Bad Luv Events will not be held liable for any loss or damage to personal property. We recommend that clients and guests take precautions such as keeping valuables secure and not leaving belongings unattended.

Any individual found to be engaging in theft or dishonest behaviour will be removed from the event premises and may be subject to legal action. Bad Luv Events reserves the right to refuse service to any individual suspected of theft or dishonest behavior.

In the event that any hired equipment or props are missing or damaged beyond normal wear and tear, Bad Luv Events reserves the right to request reimbursement from the responsible party or take appropriate legal action to recover the value of the item(s).

Clients are responsible for ensuring the security of all hired equipment and props during the event. Any suspicious behaviour or concerns regarding theft should be reported immediately to Bad Luv Events staff for investigation.

21. Security Personnel Hire:

Clients have the option to hire security personnel through Bad Luv Events for an additional fee.

Security personnel will be responsible for maintaining order, ensuring the safety of guests, and preventing unauthorised access to restricted areas during the event.

The number of security personnel required will be determined based on the size, nature, and location of the event, as well as any specific security concerns identified during the planning process.

Clients must communicate any security requirements or concerns to Bad Luv Events during the booking process to ensure appropriate security measures are implemented.

Bad Luv Events will coordinate with reputable security companies to provide trained and licensed security personnel for the duration of the event.

Any costs associated with hiring security personnel will be outlined in the event contract and must be paid in full prior to the event date.

Clients are responsible for providing clear instructions to security personnel regarding their duties and responsibilities during the event. Any changes or additional requirements should be communicated to Bad Luv Events as soon as possible.

Bad Luv Events will work closely with clients and security personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Additional Warnings:

Caution/Trigger Warning: Our events may include themes related to serial killers, taboo topics, and gruesome real-life articles/pictures depicting scenes such as murders. Additionally, we incorporate spiritual tools like tarot cards and pendulum plates as decoration. While you're welcome to use these items at your discretion, we urge caution as you never know what lies beyond the door you're opening.

All spiritual tools will be cleansed before being used in the next event. Should you choose to use these items, it's important to note that any subsequent events or experiences are not the responsibility of Bad Luv Events.

For safety reasons, we do not include Ouija boards in our prop gallery. You are welcome to bring and use your own; however, we kindly request that you inform us prior to the event.

Additionally, for safety reasons, please inform us in the rare case that a seance will be part of your event. This is again, for cleansing and safety purposes and will be asked before and after the event if one has taken place.

Age Restriction and Child Attendance:
These events are rated M for mature audiences, and we highly recommend that they be attended by individuals aged 18 and above. However, the age restriction is ultimately at the discretion of the client/guest. We strongly recommend against having children at these events for mental wellbeing and equipment safety reasons. However, the decision ultimately rests with the clients/guests.

Accountability and Responsibility:
All nightmares and psychological effects experienced after the event are considered self-inflicted by the client and their guests. Bad Luv Events will not hold any accountability or responsibility for these occurrences, and will not reimburse you for any counselling/health/therapy matters.
